Terminal boxes
Terminal boxes are nodes for connection and distribution of electrical circuits designed for safe connection of heating cables, power supply, and sensors in industrial systems, including in hazardous areas. Such boxes are hermetically sealed, resistant to external influences and comply with industrial safety requirements.
Inside there are terminal blocks for current up to 125 A with conductor cross-section from 2.5 to 35 mm². The possibility to retrofit the internal DIN rail, PE/N busbars, control elements and a heating module for condensation prevention makes the product universal for distribution, connection and control functions. The versions with Ex e, Ex d or Ex t explosion protection marking according to ATEX and IECEx standards allow the use of explosion-protected boxes in zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.
Depending on the model, the explosion-proof terminal box is made of stainless steel, aluminum alloy or reinforced polyester. Stainless steel and aluminum enclosures are resistant to corrosion and mechanical stress; glass-filled polyester and polycarbonate maintain strength at low weight, which is important for wall or ceiling mounting. The materials can withstand temperatures from -60 to +100 °C. Sealed connections and vibration-resistant terminal fixing prevent contacts from loosening, while anti-corrosion materials prolong service life even when exposed to condensation and detergents. The protection class of the boxes reaches IP66-IP68, which guarantees their resistance to moisture, dust and chemically aggressive atmospheres.
The range includes: non-explosion-proof control box, explosion-proof connection box and explosion-proof junction box. The category includes sizes with different number of entries and terminal configurations. There is also the option of customization with modification of the number of terminals, inputs and sizes.
