Explosion-proof BARTEC motors
Explosion-proof motors by BARTEC are designed for the safe operation of pumps, fans, mixers, and other industrial equipment in areas where there is a risk of explosive atmospheres forming. These motors are used in the chemical, petrochemical, gas, and food industries, at facilities for the storage and processing of combustible substances, as well as in mines and on offshore platforms.
The model range includes solutions with power ratings from 0.09 to 400 kW, allowing explosion-proof motors to be used both in small auxiliary systems with minimal loads and as part of large high-power production equipment. The range offers both standard models without brakes and specialized models with brake assemblies for applications requiring rapid stopping of the drive in an emergency. For ease of control and additional safety, an EDMS explosion-proof motor starter is available, enabling smooth start-up and providing overload protection.
The motors are available with various protection types: Ex d (flameproof enclosure), Ex e (increased safety), and Ex t (for use in dusty environments). They are designed for continuous operation at ambient temperatures from −55°C to +60°C and are resistant to moisture, dust, and chemically aggressive substances. Safety is ensured through the use of reinforced bearings, efficient heat dissipation systems, and built-in thermal protection. Additionally, foot, flange, and combined mounting options are available, simplifying integration into existing infrastructure.
The motors can be equipped with starter modules and additional control components compatible with other parts of the explosion-proof system.
