Cooling systems
Explosion-proof cooling systems are ready-made solutions designed to remove excessive heat from technological equipment and control cabinets in gas and dust zones 1, 2, 21, 22, where it is dangerous to use conventional air conditioners.
The range includes a liquid chiller FKS-KWS and an air conditioner FKS-CLM in an explosion-proof version. The chiller cools a closed circuit of glycol and oil, the conditioner maintains a stable temperature of air in the room. The main models of cooling systems are based on Bartec compressor-condenser units with Ex de IIB T4 marking, AISI 316L stainless steel housing and IP55 protection degree. The FKS-KWS chiller is available with a cooling capacity from 4 to 35 kW and features an integrated pump, expansion tank, and electric heating for winter start-up at -25 °C. It uses R134a refrigerant with a low ozone depletion potential (ODP). The explosion-proof FKS-CLM air conditioner is designed for supply-recirculation mode, equipped with a sealed fan, intrinsically safe control unit, and a G4 filter for capturing coarse dust, suitable for use in environments with dust concentrations up to 5 g/m³ as part of a multi-stage filtration system. Even at high dust levels, the system maintains a temperature stability within ±0.5 °C, depending on the operating conditions.
Each unit is certified and marked Ex de IIB T4, allowing operation in gas and dust zones 1, 2, 21, 22. Depending on the model, the equipment is equipped with a multi-stage protection system: pressure and flow control, freon leakage sensors, automatic bypass in case of emergency pump shutdown. Non-standard projects are manufactured according to the agreed technical specification with selection of power, supply voltage, refrigerant type and communication interface.
