Drum Heating
Drum heating is used for warming and maintaining the operating temperature of materials that thicken, crystallize, or lose their technological properties when cooled. Such solutions are used in chemical, food, pharmaceutical, and petrochemical industries, as well as warehouses and logistics companies where it is necessary to preserve the original properties of oils, resins, adhesives, chemical reagents, food ingredients, and other products during transportation or before pumping.
To implement heating, various types of bottom and side heaters are used. Bottom models heat the container from below, accelerating process startup and increasing product fluidity at the base. The design of such heaters is made of a durable metal housing intended for intensive operation. Connection is made to a standard 220 V network, which simplifies equipment placement at any industrial site. Side-wall heaters are designed to provide uniform heating around the perimeter of the container. The metal housing withstands constant temperature loads and can operate both with and without thermal insulation. The assortment includes heating jackets of the HIF, CCC, and HCC series, ECF bottom bases, and cylindrical and flexible heaters CFB and CFR.
Drum heating is convenient because the equipment is easy to install and dismantle, and does not require modifications to the container design. Unlike space heating or portable heat guns, these solutions transfer heat directly to the drum walls, increasing heating efficiency and reducing energy losses.
