Resistive Explosion-Proof Heating Cables
Resistive explosion-proof heating cables are designed for heating technological pipelines, tanks, pump units, and other elements of engineering systems located in hazardous areas. They are used to maintain or increase the temperature of the medium inside the systems, preventing freezing and ensuring stable equipment operation in aggressive environments. The products’ advantages include high reliability, resistance to extreme operating conditions, and a service life warranty of over 20 years. All cables are certified for use in explosive zones and comply with industrial safety requirements.
The category includes two types of products: the single-core EKL heating cable with a polymer sheath, and the EMK heating cable with mineral insulation, with peak operating temperatures of 250°C, 400°C, and 600°C. The EKL cable is highly flexible, resistant to mechanical damage, and suitable for installation in hard-to-reach areas. It provides uniform heat transfer and can be installed either exposed or under thermal insulation. The mineral-insulated cable offers increased thermal resistance and is resistant to moisture, dust, and chemically active substances. Its construction includes a heating conductor insulated with compressed magnesium oxide and a sealed metal sheath, allowing operation at temperatures up to 600°C. These cables are suitable for heating long pipelines and equipment with high thermal loads.
The cables are supplied in project-specific lengths, in coils, or as ready-made solutions. To simplify selection and calculation, the company’s specialists provide technical consultations and assistance in choosing the optimal product based on operating conditions.
