Self-Regulating Explosion-Proof Heating Cables
Explosion-proof self-regulating heating cables are designed to maintain temperature and prevent the freezing of pipelines, tanks, pump stations, and other technological equipment located in hazardous areas.
The self-regulation technology is based on the ability of a semiconductor matrix to automatically adjust heat output depending on the ambient temperature: as the temperature rises, resistance increases and power output decreases; as the temperature falls, resistance decreases and power output increases. This design reduces energy consumption, eliminates the risk of overheating, and allows the cable to be installed in areas with variable heat losses without the need for additional thermostats.
The range includes models with a power output from 10 W/m to 70 W/m, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250 °C. Depending on the series, the cables are equipped with an outer sheath made of fluoropolymer, polyolefin, or a combination of both, ensuring resistance to chemicals, moisture, and ultraviolet light. A protective braid made of tinned copper or stainless steel provides additional mechanical strength and durability in aggressive environments. All explosion-proof self-regulating heating cables are certified to international safety standards and are suitable for use in both explosive and non-explosive zones.
A wide selection of options with different sheath materials, moisture protection levels, and thermal resistance ratings ensures the availability of an optimal solution for any application. Detailed technical specifications are provided on the pages of specific models.
