Mineral insulated cable up to 400°C
Mineral insulated heating cables, consist of a metal conductor embedded in compacted magnesium oxide (inorganic) in a metal sheath.
The inorganic nature of the construction allows the cables to operate at high temperatures for extended periods of time in demanding environments such as: petrochemical, reactor vessels and other applications where cable integrity is important.
Heating cables with mineral insulation are designed for heating pipelines, vessels, process equipment and other objects, including in explosion hazardous areas of class 1, and for operation as part of heating devices and appliances for various purposes at operating voltages up to 750V.
