BPG boxes made of glass fibre reinforced polyester
BPG boxes consist of 16 case sizes. They are made of glass fibre reinforced polyester or carbon charged antistatic GRP (BPGC). The BPG and BPGC enclosures are suitable for use in hazardous areas.
The BPG junction box has excellent ingress protection characteristics (IP66/67) thanks to the labyrinth sealing system of the enclosure. This protects the seal from the external environment. The mounting holes, although contained within the body profile, are also designed to be placed outside the seal, maintaining integrity.
All external fasteners and fixings are made of 316 stainless steel for reliability. BPG enclosures are suitable for ambient temperatures from -65°C to 130°C.
BPG housings are also available for carbon filler (BPGC), which helps to reduce the surface resistance of the material and therefore reduces the risk of sparking from static build-up.
