Polyester junction box for zone 1 and 21
Polyester junction boxes manufactured by BARTEC GmbH (Germany) have proven themselves in many industrial plants around the world. The boxes guarantee reliable protection when used in extreme environmental conditions, in aggressive chemical environments and under heavy mechanical loads.
On the narrow sides, threaded cable glands are installed on the lower part of the enclosure to allow power and control cables to be routed into the box. Cable glands are made of reinforced plastic for unarmoured cables and metal for armoured cables. There are also bushings inside the box for fixing support rails or mounting plates.
The enclosure is secured by means of insulated screw channels outside the sealed area.
For use in areas with combustible dust (Zone 21 and 22), high quality black explosion-proof enclosures are used.
