LED panel Nimbus
The Nimbus LED panel is a low profile LED panel that is fully certified for use in Zone 1 hazardous areas. It provides energy savings compared to traditional fluorescent lamps.
The low-glare design provides excellent uniformity and colour rendering, replicating the luminous flux of fluorescent luminaires. Nimbus is available in pure white (5700K) or warm white (2700K) light for maximum flexibility. This gives installers the ability to match colour temperature to individual applications. Nimbus is therefore ideal for installation in control rooms, corridors and offshore accommodation modules. The panel also has a built-in starter.
A backup version of the emergency battery is available to provide emergency/emergency lighting at offshore sites. To ensure the highest level of safety Nimbus has a battery status / fault indication and automatic self-test.
To protect against the rigours of offshore installation, the Nimbus control unit is designed with harmonic and surge protection to prevent damage to the LEDs.
The panels are built in as standard and are designed to sit lower rather than replace ceiling tiles. This ensures that the integrity of the ceiling is maintained, especially important for fire-safe installations.
The control unit for the panel can be mounted up to four metres away, allowing for convenient placement and saving space in the ceiling space. The connection between the panel and the driver is made with a protective flame retardant LSZH cable and has a male connector for easy installation.
