Explosion-proof shock-proof safety thermostat BSTW II
BSTW II 25-A Ex-temperature shock-resistant safety thermostat and temperature limiters BTB II / BSTB II are two-state controllers in polyester enclosures certified Exe.
In addition to the connection of sheathed power cables, the BSTW II and BTB II / BSTW II are suitable for direct connection of BARTEC self-regulating heating systems in the enclosure. As a result, a thermal safety check and further acceptance test by an able-bodied person is no longer required. The benefit to the client is obvious.
Direct connection of self-regulating heating cables (tapes) does not imply the need for additional junction boxes and significantly reduces the required length of power cables. The BSTW II and BTB II / BSTB II can not only monitor the ambient temperature, but also different surface temperatures.
The fail-safe temperature limiters BTB II and BSTB II are designed to shut down and disconnect when the set limit temperature is reached. The restart interlock requires a manual reset directly in the device.
