Explosion-proof panel POLARIS Panel PC 15″
The explosion-proof POLARIS Panel PC 15″ manufactured by Bartec GmbH (Germany) is based on the fast Intel® AtomTM processor. Via the Ethernet interface it is possible to connect individual computers or network devices, e.g. a printer, to an existing local area network (LAN) (optionally also via WLAN) or to create completely wireless LANs.
Powerful visualisation and process control directly on site becomes possible. Wired electrical connections are made via the terminal compartment with fire protection type “e” (increased safety).
The latest display technology ensures optimum contrast even at high viewing angles. The recessed front panel allows for easy installation. The units are optionally available as complete system solutions in stainless steel housing for wall, floor or ceiling mounting. An intrinsically safe USB interface for USB Ex i flash memory is available.
Systems based on skin effect heating of pipelines. A touch screen (intrinsically safe) is also available as an option, offering the absolute maximum in operating comfort. Windows® XP Professional or Windows 7® can be used as the operating system.
The panel PCs are thus open to many software packages, e.g. customer software or other commercially available standard visualisation software. Of course, users can work here as well
using the BARTEC programming package “BMS-Graf-pro” (from version 7.xxx). The PROFIBUS-DP interface can only be used in combination with the BARTEC software “BMS-Graf-pro”.
