Explosion-proof 3-, 4- and 5-pole plug connectors for 16A
Power is supplied everywhere, even in hazardous areas 1, 2, 21 and 22. All electrical installations are generally subject to higher requirements.
At first glance, mechanical strength and chemical resistance seem to be very important for plug connectors, but electrical reliability is also required for electrical connections. For safe and reliable operation, high safety standards are a fundamental prerequisite to ensure stable and perfect contact even when exposed to vibrations and aggressive media.
Plug connectors offer more: in addition to the tried and tested, they are also innovative technologies. For example, truly effective cable strain reliefs or the new labelling system of different versions allow for different technical solutions to safety problems in all areas of operation.
Our products can be used in virtually all industries. The robust explosion-protected versions fully fulfil the requirements for mechanical and chemical resistance. The version designed specifically for emergency stationary power supply in explosion-proof areas fully fulfils safety requirements. The modular principle makes it possible to solve any individual task.
For example, surface-mounted sockets can be pre-mounted on mounting frames without the use of special tools, which means that no flammable work permit is required for final installation.
The standard versions are designed for 16 A, 32 A, 63 A and 125 A.
