The Exd explosion-protected cable gland for armoured PAP cable is manufactured at Bartec FEAM. The cable glands have the type of protection Exd (“flameproof enclosure”). Manufactured from nickel-plated brass / stainless steel according to Directive 94/9/EC in compliance with European standards EN/IEC 60079-0; EN/IEC 60079-1; EN/IEC 60079-7; EN/IEC 60079-31.
The Exd explosion-protected cable gland for armoured cable PAP is used for sealing armoured cable. Complies with a high degree of protection IP66/68.

For cables with steel wire or strip armour
Double sealing, for installation and operation both indoors and outdoors
Armour clamping rings allow this cable gland to be used for all types of armour (braid/tape)
Sealing on the outer sheath and under the armour, on the inner sheath of the cable
Filling with special compound using a “filling sleeve” (only for barrier type “R”)
