The TWISTO B-S connection system is the easiest and safest to use, but also faster and therefore cheaper. The main advantages of TWISTO-B can be described – this connection method is designed for use with self-regulating heating cables manufactured by BARTEC. All you need to assemble the heating circuit is a knife and a diagonal cutter.
The TWISTO B-S connection system is a system that does not require time-consuming splicing of the two conductors between the heating matrix, no labour-intensive splicing and twisting of the protective braid, and no connection to the terminals in the box (thermostat).
The TWISTO B-S connection system is designed for connecting and terminating self-regulating heating cables when installing electric heating systems for heating pipelines or tanks.
When disconnecting, only part of the outer protective sheath is removed, the clamping plate is placed over part of the exposed braid, and the remaining part is pulled back over the clamping plate.
The self-regulating heating cable is then inserted into the clamping fixture and the two outer sleeves are twisted together (one side is ready for use with a 2 m long power cable), the self-regulating heating cable makes contact with the clamping fixture. The end of the connection system consists of just one part, whereby the end of the self-regulating heating cable is shortened and inserted into the contact piece.
